Michelle has made movement an essential part of her journey through wellness for over fifteen years. She started in her early twenties, committing regularly to weight training, kick boxing, running, spinning, and yoga. Through the discovery of Pilates she found a deeper connection to mind-body wellness.
Michelle has been tailoring one-on-one sessions to client specific needs. She also has experience teaching duets, and group classes. The sessions have a strong focus on the pilates principles of alignment and control of movement for an effective and safe experience. Building awareness of movement, coordination, strength and flexibility is the goal of each session.

Yoga is a holistic discipline which supports health and wellbeing. Yoga teaches that mind, body, and spirit are connected.
Hatha Yoga uses a system of physical poses accompanied by breathing techniques to purify the body while promoting a sense of mindfulness in preparation for meditation.
Restorative Yoga uses various props to allow people to stay comfortable and supported in a pose for a longer period of time without discomfort or stress promoting relaxation and release of tension.
Both Hatha and Restorative styles of yoga are used in session.

"I've been doing pilates for over six years and Michelle is by far the best instructor I've worked with. Her knowledge of the Pilates method and anatomy of the body is truly outstanding. She is always in-tune with my needs and goals for healthy living. I have gone into a session with very little energy and motivation and come out ready to conquer the world!"

"In my experience, Pilates is an intelligent and well integrated form of exercise that can be tailored to every fitness level. From athletic conditioning, to post rehab training, or to improve posture, flexibility and strength. Everyone can benefit! It is a great way to practice mindfulness- by being present in your body and breath, which then leads to reduced stress and a feeling of connectedness."
