Michelle has made movement an essential part of her journey through wellness for over fifteen years. She started in her early twenties, committing regularly to weight training, kick boxing, running, spinning, and yoga. Through the discovery of Pilates she found a deeper connection to mind-body wellness.

Michelle has been tailoring one-on-one sessions to client specific needs. She also has experience teaching duets, and group classes. The sessions have a strong focus on the pilates principles of alignment and control of movement for an effective and safe experience. Building awareness of movement, coordination, strength and flexibility is the goal of each session.

Michelle is a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor trained in Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels, with experience working with injuries and special populations. She holds a Mind Body Wellness Practictioner diploma from South West Insitute of Healing Arts with a concentration on Holistic Nutrition and Hatha Yoga teacher training. She also enjoys walking, hiking, trail running, snowboarding, and anything outdoors that connects humans back to nature.

What Is Pilates?


Pilates is a system of exercises created by Joseph H. Pilates designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and mental awareness.

What is Yoga?


Yoga is a holistic discipline which supports health and wellbeing. Yoga teaches that mind, body, and spirit are connected.

Hatha Yoga uses a system of physical poses accompanied by breathing techniques to purify the body while promoting a sense of mindfulness in preparation for meditation.

Restorative Yoga uses various props to allow people to stay comfortable and supported in a pose for a longer period of time without discomfort or stress promoting relaxation and release of tension.

Both Hatha and Restorative styles of yoga are used in session.
